Im here for my Mom (aka Karen) .The most amazing person I know, beautiful inside and out! She doesnt know I've committed myself to helping her pay her medical bills or that Ive started a GoFundMe. Shes always worked hard for me & my sister, always putting herself second. My mom is a giver, a lover, selfless and a caregiver to anyone in need but she hasn’t had the best of luck with that great big giving heart of hers. It was 8 years ago this August when my Mom had a heart attack known as the widow maker. A heart attack that only 5% of people survive (5%!!), and she survived!! Thank GOD she survived!! She fought hard through one open heart surgery and one year later she wasn’t getting any better, and the hospital we were at couldn’t help us anymore.

Thankfully we heard about a device call a LVAD (Left Ventricular Assistant Device) which my Mom needed since the left (main part) of her heart had pretty much died.

So almost one year to the day of her first open heart she went under for a second open heart surgery! Which again it took some time but she came out of well and has lived her life for 7 YEARS with this amazing device they call a LVAD!! She has lived restricted, has went through many trials in these 7 years, she doesn’t have a heart beat or a pulse but shes here (Crazy right?! Love modern medicine!)!

She is now faced with another open-heart surgery (#3) she needs a Heart Transplant. We are currently waiting to hear if Insurance will cover this surgery… as it is my Mom has a lot of bills and they are continuing to pile up. She has to pay just to make an appointment and that is the last thing she needs to worry about.. it’s the last thing anyone in this position should ever have to worry about. So Im here today to ask for anyone willing to donate to help my Mom pay her medical bills. For anyone who knows me and if you don’t I don’t ask for help too often, but I come by it honestly, I learned it from the woman who raised me.

So Im here to ask if you will please help me show her selfless actions through her life have not gone unnoticed and now is her time to have help!!! If all you can afford is a Prayer then you have given us one more prayer then we had before!! Thank you in advance.

We have too much life to live with one another for money to be such a stressor for such any one person. Its taken me days to complete this. I tried to make it short, but how does one sum up in just a paraghraph how much their Mom means to them? We only get one Mother and I will not stop doing anything and everything I can to help her. Even if its to write a very long paraghraph for strangers of my family and friends to read (if they finish) and get even a small amount of help. For everything she has endured with me, for me, and to stay with me, this is the least I can do. Thank You so much for your time. Please Share my post I will forever be greatful.
