<div>My name is Brandi Webber and in a devastating turn of events my mom, Karen Callison, had her life forever changed when she suddenly went unconscious and slipped into a rare, mysterious coma. It took doctors several days to pinpoint the cause, leaving our family in a state of constant worry and uncertainty. The emotional toll has been immense, as we have stood by her side through this terrifying experience, hoping intensely for her to wake up. The survival rate for this type of coma is grim, but Karen beat the odds and woke up.

<div>The road ahead is still long. The cost of her coma care alone is projected to reach nearly $60,000, a financial burden that she and our family simply cannot bear alone. But this is just the beginning. Karen now faces extended hospitalization, followed by intensive physical therapy and occupational therapy to regain strength and independence.  These therapies are vital for her recovery but come with their own set of costs.
