Our Sister Karen’s Journey

Our sister Karen has recently received devastating news — she has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. This sudden diagnosis has turned her world upside down and placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on her.

Karen is currently on disability and works a part-time job, but now she is facing an uphill battle. She will need brain surgery to remove the tumor, followed by extensive rehabilitation and recovery. During this time, she will be unable to work, and her minimal health insurance leaves her with overwhelming medical bills.

Despite these challenges, Karen remains strong and determined. She has always been the kind of person who puts others first — offering her time, her love, and her kindness to family, friends, and neighbors. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.
