My name is Rebecka Bale and I am raising money to help cover the cost of funeral expenses for my grandmother Karen Backshall.

Karen was the most generous, kind, loving person that I have ever known. From the time that I was 13 she raised me and my brother Grady in her home. She has given all of herself and more to everyone that she knew. She never turned anyone away, no matter the circumstance.

She passed away peacefully on February 28th 2025, surrounded by family.

Unfortunately there was no money to cover funeral costs, so I am hoping to raise enough to lay her to rest the way that she deserves and would have wanted.
