Steve and his wife Kara went in for a routine procedure and found out she has Colon Cancer Stage 4-A. She has had a major operation and came home from the hospital yesterday 10/25/17.
The doctor gave a prognosis that all cancer seems to be removed with the surgery, but to aid in recovery Kara will have to undergo Chemo Therapy for the next six months.
Kara is a young 38 they have a son Will 12 years old, Jakob 17 years old a senior at Piedmont highschool and Hannah 22 years old who is currently planning her wedding.
Kara is kind and giving, she has the sweetest smile! She is a mother, a friend, a wife, a daughter, a sister. She is a teacher and mentor to many.
Kara and her family are inudated in all of these unforeseen medical bills. The Chemo is scary, hard for her and the family, and of course expensive. They need help during this time so that the last thing they are worried about is expenses.
