Kara & Dorian need a Van

Kara Phoebe is a traveling nonbinary queer black artist and organizer. Dorian Taylor is a genderqueer professional black activist and adaptive athlete with a spinal chord injury and lupus.
Kara Phoebe and Dorian Taylor have been co-owning an accessible van since January 2017. They both rely on this van to uphold their standard of life. The vehicle insures the personal safety of Dorian as a disabled, black genderqueer person as well as enables Kara to organize, create opportunities and support others in the Seattle artist community. Both Dorian and Kara have plans and goals that involve larger scale touring and national travel- these trips would be exponentially safer and more affordable with their own car.
