Want to join us in making a difference?

Box-A-Thon is our annual campus wide philanthropy event. We construct a large cardboard box in the middle of the University of Texas at Dallas campus to raise funds for homeless veterans. We spend the duration of the week eating, sleeping, and living out of this box. Many of our volunteers have dedicated over a hundred hours during the week in order to show their support for the cause, all while taking in various types of donations.

Who are we:

We are the Nu-Omicron chapter of Kappa Sigma located at the University of Texas at Dallas. We are proud to represent the Military hero’s Campaign. We aggressively pursue opportunities to assist our nation’s veterans with financial and organizational support.

Why we do it?

The event provides a platform for people across campus to engage with each other for a greater cause and bring the conversation to the forefront of campus. We hope to use the event to help bolster the UT Dallas community's awareness and engage with each other, bringing the conversation to the forefront of campus. We hold this campaign because we're committing to assisting those who have served our nation with financial and organizational support to help them overcome battles they fight every day.

How can you show support?

By donating and attending our event and sharing this gofundme with others. With COVID-19, we were unable to have the event last year and as such are looking to make up for it by raising even more this year. Any donation will help make an impact.
