Kanoe Ke-a Kahana Life Memorial

Donation protected
Our beloved daughter, sister, aunty, niece, cousin, granddaughter and friend, Kanoelani Pailani Kaleiokalani Ke-a Kahana, transitioned from earth to heaven on February 23, 2018 with her ohana (family) by her side. She had just turned 25 yrs old. Kanoe was a treasure to everyone who knew her! She was smart, goofy, always cared for others before herself, always wanting to help others and she had that fighting spirit - never giving up on anything or anyone in her life! Kanoe loved life and lived it to the fullest! She took care of herself physically and always encouraged everyone else to do the same. She did everything outdoorsy you could think of whether it was on land or in the ocean! From paddling, playing water polo, surfing and becoming a life guard to keep people safe in the water and teaching them how to swim! Her love for the ocean was so evident in her life! Living on an island she took full advantage of hiking every trail she could, even the Stairway to Heaven! She played sports, loved to exercise and run, and loved hanging out with her family and friends and barbecuing! She loved it all!  Kanoe loved children and dreamt of having her own one day! Since she didn't have any of her own she took care of and loved on everyone else's instead! Between her love for animals and kids she always wanted to live on a farm and raise both the animals and kids! We believe she is in heaven living that dream now! Taking care of all the animals and children in heaven! Kanoe's favorite color is green and ironically she joined the Army National Guard - hence the uniforms are green! She had a special relationship with her battle buddies and it showed when they visited her in the hospital. That's a special bond that can never be broken! Kanoe loved her family to no end! Her love for her mommy and her siblings was like no other! She would tell you straight but it was always with love in her own way! She was always there for them! Her unconditional love for them and people in general made her special!  Kanoe made such an impact on everyone who she came into contact with, even if it was just for a minute, she had that kind of spirit that exuded love, happiness, joy and made you feel a sense of importance in life!  Kanoe graduated from Kamehameha Schools in 2011 and she had such pride in that! She was always grateful for what Princess Pauahi Bishop gave her and countless others in education and opportunity. She was IMUA strong! She was willing to sacrifice her life on the battle field and now in her going home to be with the Lord she is giving life to others by donating her organs to people who are fighting to stay alive! This is her legacy - a legacy of giving, love, compassion, zest for life and always putting others before herself!  Kanoe will always be remembered as the strong one, the giving one,the goofy one and the loving one and she will never be forgotten by anyone who knew her! A part of her now lives on in others and we hope they love life and experience everything they can because that was what Kanoe would do! Our ohana would like to say a big Mahalo  (thank you) for giving any monetary donation and we pray a blessing of 100-fold return on you for your generosity as we prepare to celebrate Kanoe's life! God's blessings, favor, anointing, love and prosperity be poured upon you always! Aloha Ke Akua, (With God's love) The ohana of Kanoe
