Keep the Voice of the Island Alive: Support 5KIxFM 90.7 ️

Kangaroo Island is more than just a destination—it’s a community of 4,500 people who rely on one another.

At 5KIxFM 90.7, we are the soundtrack to life on the Island. Whether you’re tuning in from a tractor in Kingscote, a shop in Penneshaw, or via our global live stream from the other side of the world, we are your local connection.

The Challenge

Running a station 16 kilometres across the water comes with unique hurdles. With a small population and a remote economy, our local sponsorship pool is limited. Right now, we operate on a shoestring budget, relying on every cent from grants and sponsors just to keep the lights on.

How You Can Help

We aren't just asking for a donation; we’re asking you to invest in the voice of our community. Whether you’re a local who listens every morning or a visitor who fell in love with our shores, your contribution ensures that 5KIxFM stays on the air.

Please donate to this crowd funding effort to keep community radio going on Kangaroo Island.

Help us spread the word! Share this page with anyone who loves Kangaroo Island.

We are just looking for $1.00 for each person on the island to get us on our way to providing a much better service to the community.

Thank you for keeping 5KIxFM 90.7 loud and proud!
