Legal Action/ Justice For Kamal

Ina lilahi wa ina ilahi rajiun (to Allah we belong and to him we shall return). On the day of August 20th 2017 our beloved brother, son, father, and friend was murdered, Allah Ya Rahma. For those of you who didn't have the pleasure of knowing Kamal, he was a charming, well rounded, respectful man that was loved and cherished by so many people. For those of you who did know him, then you knew the ability Kamal had to walk into a room and light it up. His passing was a massive loss to our community and impacted everyone he knew. Kamal was a victim of a senselessness act of violence in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his family and two beautiful daughters, both under the age of 5 who still don't understand what has happened to their beloved father.
As a community, as his loved ones, it is up to us to try to fill in that void in any way possible - whether that may be through prayers and duaa for him or a donation to help support his loved ones. Whatever you are willing and capable of doing is greatly appreciated because all amounts of money will help, nothing is too small. This is a form of charity for you as well. May Allah subhana wa ta'ala grant our brother Kamal the highest level of Jannah, place light and space in his grave and grant his family patience. Ameen!
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 604
"O Allah, forgive Kamal Abdulahi ShekMohamed and brother, Muhanad Afdal. Make them among the guided ones, raise their status and be their deputy among the grieving. O Lord of the two worlds, forgive us and and them and make their grave wide and full of light". Amiin.
Days prior to our brothers death, another vibrant young man was also senselessly murdered. His family is in need of help at this time. Whatever you can donate will be immensely appreciated and may allah bless you all. May we all keep these brothers in our dua's.
