Plush blankets and warm clothes for India
Donation protected
Hi, it’s me again, Pam Kidd. And once again, I am appealing to my brothers and sisters in Christ, friends and family to join together and help our friends in India.
I continue to stay in contact with our friends in India and they are continually letting me know about the successful work that is being accomplished there.
My brother, Pastor Dularchand and his amazing wife, has been faithfully nurturing the people of Bihar with food, clothes, and medical supplies, teaching them how to read, sew, and know Jesus and also providing them with medical care as much as his wife who is a nurse can provide with medicines and teaching them how to take better care of themselves. As a result many people are coming to Christ and learning to take better care of themselves as best as they can in their environment.
He is about to go into one of the poorest regions of the poorest states, Bihar, in India to share the hope of Christ. But as he always does, he meets their physical needs first. This time it’s to provide warm clothes and blankets to as many people as possible that are too poor to own homes and are sleeping under the trees. This area is close to the Himalayan mountains so it’s cold. Pastor Dularchand is hoping to be able to hand out these essential things from December 12 - 15. I am asking you to join me in providing warmth to a group of people that are truly trapped by circumstance and show them what Jesus looks like. This is how we reciprocate Jesus’ love back to Him.
When you gave My people food and drink, when you took in the stranger, and clothed the naked, when you cared for the sick and visited the imprisoned then you did it for me. Matthew 25:35-40
I know many of you would do this yourself if you were there but we aren’t there so please join me in helping our friends stay warm this winter by helping Pastor Dularchand and his wife purchase warm clothes and blankets for this community.
Thank you for any little bit that you can do to relieve the suffering and burdens of these absolutely beautiful people. Truly a little bit goes a long way. One blanket costs about 250 rupees. 1 rupee is equal to one penny USD and 2 cents AUD. So, you can literally buy a plush, thick blanket for 1.95 USD or 2.55 AUD. :)
