Kalon's medical expenses

As most of my family and friends are aware, my son Kalon (23 years old) has suffered a great deal within the past 25 days due to injuries associated with gun shots his lower right leg. Kalon has undergone 5 surgeries within the past 25 days in efforts of saving his leg. He has been in the Critical Care Unit at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, TX since May 31st.  My son has experienced many ups and downs while in the care of Ben Taub Hospital. Needless to say this has been an emotional roller coaster for us all. I have traveled back and forth from La Marque to Houston every day since May 31st and I thank you all for your warm well wishes thoughts and constant prayers.  We will be relieved once he is released however as most of you are aware even though Kalon is covered under my medical insurance we are facing a financial burden with the stress of his additional medical expenses (medication, medical equipment at home care, and needs upon release from the hospital. Kalon has a 5 year old son Kaiden who he loves dearly and will now be unable to support him financially at this time. Your donations will also help him in this area. 

Kalon is expected to have another major surgery in the coming weeks in an effort to repair the bone and ankle as well as adding plates to both.  The reality is, insurance just won't cover it all. Once my son is released I will be taking a  leave of absence to take care of him. As mothers we do what we must for our children and I love mine endlessly! On behalf of my son, I am asking my family and friends for help. Any financial contributions you give will be a blessing to Kalon. Please keep him lifted in constant prayer as this has been a life altering injury. I trust, lean and depend on GOD no matter how bad the situation looks he has the final say!
