Support the Kalgan Stampede

Hi, I'm Tom Kennedy and with the inspiration from my horses Molly and Junior and Flash the Wonderdog I embarked on the journey of running my first major event and rodeo in Albany, Western Australia for the benefit of everyone. The event was a great success from a spectator and competitors POV but unfortunately cost a lot of money due to the arena set up costs including water, power, lighting, temp fences etc.
I organised the event entirely on my own and it was a huge challenge both physically and mentally and also placed a massive stress on my family. I have covered a lot of the costs personally and have still fallen $50,000 short in paying the businesses that provided the services and infrustructures. A lot of businesses gained from the event and we managed to create an awesome impression in a lot of peoples minds as to how great this rodeo is and how much better we can make it in 2019.
I believe it is worth running again as we have had an anusual amount of positive reviews online and by word of mouth with all 3 local papers putting the event on the front page with not even one negative review at all from any of the spectators that attended that I'm aware of.
I would appreciate the funds ASAP so I can pay for the remaining invoices and then begin planning a more streamlined event running on the Friday afternoon and evening and then a Sat afternoon and evening main rodeo with more cost effective budgeting.
The funds will be used to pay for the following items still outstanding:
Marquee Hire, Pony Rides, Signage and Advertising, Trenching and Underground Cabling, Light Fittings, Water Supply, Fencing, Traffic Management, Security.
The 2019 event will be easier to organise and more economical to run as I now have the infrustructure in place and far more aware of the areas that can add cost to the event very quickly.
Your support would be awesome as it will show to me the community is appreciative of the rodeo and that it is here to stay.
I'd be extremely grateful and humbled to see the GoFundMe campaign be a success so I can run the Kalgan Stampede again and continue to provide memories for kids to hold on to just as I have fond memories of attending the Manypeaks Rodeo with my father.
It also means I can provide kids, teenagers and adults with the opportunity to have fun with their horses practicing at home to race around the barrels at the next Kalgan Stampede or aspire to be a cowboy or cowgirl. The event can also support our local pony clubs with car parking gold coin donation opportunities.
