Kaleb's Adoption

We all love reading about the beautiful side of adoption. The more difficult side is the side of the birth mother who must choose a broken heart for the adoption to happen.

Our grandson, K---, is the adoptee. He was the product of repeated abuse by boyfriend, T---.  Eventually, they split up.  After much struggle and soul searching, our daughter, M---, decided to surrender her son to her brother and his wife and allow them to adopt him.

Jesse & Annie are the adoptive parents. They willingly gave of themselves and their hearts and their money to raise K--- as their own. They love that boy and see him as their son!


T---’s family decided to sue for custody of K---.

This lead to mounting
.  Adoption application costs
. lawyer fees
. court costs.

... only to have their application dismissed and their son ripped from their lives and hearts!

They are a loving, caring family, doing what is right for their “adopted son”! This massive financial investment is bringing them precariously close to having to choose between food and shelter or bankruptcy.

Please be generous and help this young family see their way out of this dreadful situation. And send up a prayer for their broken hearts!
