Kaiya’s Medical Expenses and Cremation Services

Our sweet girl Kaiya unfortunately passed away this early Saturday morning. Though Kaiya will be dearly missed, we are at ease knowing she is no longer in pain. We would like to thank everyone who has already donated, shared, and kept her and our family in your thoughts during this difficult time. Funds will now be used to pay off the remaining balance of her medical expenses, as well as her cremation services.

Kaiya is our 6 year old Siberian Husky that we’ve had since she was a puppy. She has always been a sweet, playful dog with tons of energy. On December 3rd, we woke up to Kaiya throwing up all over our garage. She was lethargic, shook while she tried to breathe, and was slowly closing her eyes.
We took her to the vet that morning where they ran tests and x-rays to find that she had a slow pulse, fast heart rate, a fever, and some sort of mass on her pancreas. She wasn’t doing good so they referred us to an emergency hospital they believed could further help her.
Kaiya was hospitalized that night. They gave her IV fluids and proceeded to run more blood work as well as an ultrasound. She had developed an inflammation on her pancreas that was worse than expected. Though she is now stable, she is still in a lot of pain and is still hospitalized.
Despite the circumstances, we know Kaiya is lively and strong and we refuse to give up on her. Our goal is to raise $5000. We will use the funds to pay for her medical expenses. We understand that asking for donations is not the easiest thing to do given everybody’s financial situation being affected by COVID-19. Nonetheless, we greatly appreciate anyone who is able to help Kaiya whether it is through a donation, sharing, or keeping her in your thoughts. Thank you.
