Kaitlyn's Spinal Surgery

Some may know that since separating from the Navy after 6 years active service 11 months ago that I have had a bit of bad luck. I am blessed with a decent job, great boyfriend and nice car but for the most part, my life has been a juggling game the past year. I never thought I would make one of these, I always thought they seemed like looking for a hand out but honestly, I am in way over my head and I will try anything. 6 weeks ago, I injured my back while working out. After an Urgent Care and ER visit, countless physical therapy and chiropractor visits, I was referred to get an MRI. The MRI revealed I have two herniated discs (L4-L5, and L5-S1) which is pretty much my entire lower back support. I am currently in the Preop stage to have them repaired or possibly replaced. I have been unable to stand up straight or lay flat since the incident and must sleep sitting up on my couch. I am in an incredible amount of pain constantly and to top it off my insurance is covering practically none of the costs of my medical visits. I am now $4,000.00 into this in medical costs and my surgery is in 2 weeks which will be at least another $2,500.00 which will lead to the max $6,500.00 cap I have out of pocket for insurance. If you have anything to spare, I would truly appreciate it; I have never asked for anything from anyone. If you don't have it, I ask that you please pray for me. Pray that I recover quickly from my surgery and God guides me in the right direction to handle this financial set back.
