Kai's New Ear

Kai was born in China on May 5, 2010.  Let me reword that, he was found on the side of the road on May 7th so he was given May 5th as a birthday.  He was born with microtia which left him without an ear.  We were able to get him a 3D printed ear in 2015 before he began kindergarten.  This allowed him to wear his glasses and to look "normal" to his peers.  In the last two years, the ear has worn out and is obvious that it is fake.  We desire to replace his ear with a new one so that he can walk with pride and not worry about people looking.  We work through Paul Tanner at the University of Utah.  3D printed ears are not cheap.  If you feel drawn to help Kai get a new ear, you will become part of his story!  Little things like this can change a child's life.  We never have to think about being deformed without an ear, but my son looks at it in the mirror every day.  As mom it breaks my heart to glue this ear on everyday knoing that it is coming apart and not looking good.  :-(  Thank you for listening!! - Hansi
