Peru Humanitarian Project

Hi, I'm Kai, your donation will help me no matter how small or big, I appreciate you looking at my cause.

I will be going to Peru in the summer of 2019 and, for four weeks, will help the local communities in Macha Pichu by building houses, kitchens, toilets and anything else that will help their livelihoods.

Your fundraising will go directly to the trip and towards the costs of flights, hotels, travelling etc. I wish for you to understand that this trip will help many communities that are just like us to develop and strive even in poverty. I would like to make that difference and for you to donate would be immense to me and to those I will be helping.

I know my goal is big and will take long time to accomplish but even if you can't donate spread the word! This is for an amazing cause and you would be helping these secluded Peruvian communities directly through these donations.

One great thing about this trip is we get to help and volunteer for these natives, become part of their lives for a few weeks and explore this beautiful place. I think I would be lying if I said this was a dream of mine from a young age but when this trip came up at my school it certainly became one!

I can admit to you guys that I have wanted to help from a young age, I volunteer at my local SportsAble (we help disabled children to swim and gain confidence using water as our platform) and St.Johns Ambulance.

Peru is a developing country with many rural areas being left behind for the vast cities and over 50% of these rural communities are below the poverty line. This leads to a lack in education and poor vegetable growing conditions in the areas that I'll be visiting and this can lead to many malnutrition problems.

Some examples of what I'll be doing are building greenhouses for vegetables, building kitchens and dining rooms in nearby schools and building toilets in local homes

thank you for reading my page, now go fund me! :)
