<div>It is with a heavy heart we make this request for our lovely friend Jessica Brown. Most will know her as JRK and her amazing work helping many of the community with their housing needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On 14th September the unimaginable happened to her son Kaicy, 12 and her father. They passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning on a camping trip.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The money raised will go towards funeral costs, a memorial and legal fees as Jess wants to bring her boy home, as there is disputes within the family about where he will be laid to rest. We don’t want her to go through anymore headache at this sad time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help relieve the financial burden of this tragic accident.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you

<div>Carbon Monoxide Awareness
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Carbon monoxide (CO) is a poisonous gas attributing to over 60 deaths per year in England and Wales. It has no smell or taste and can kill if exposed to high levels.
</div>
<div>Carbon monoxide can be made by fires and appliances that burn gas, wood, oil or coal. Common household appliances used for heating and cooking can produce carbon monoxide if they are not installed properly, are faulty, or are poorly maintained.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Appliances that can cause carbon monoxide include:
</div>
<div>gas boilers
</div>
<div>gas cookers and clay ovens
</div>
<div>gas or paraffin heaters
</div>
<div>wood, gas and coal fires
</div>
<div>portable generators
</div>
<div>Using barbeques or camping stoves inside, and turning on vehicle or lawn mower engines in your garage, can also cause a build-up of carbon monoxide.
