In Memory Of Kaia Lovejoy Byrd

On July 21st, Zach and Chelsea discovered they were expecting their first child.  At Chelsea's 20 week anatomy scan, we learned that she was expecting a little girl (Kaia) and that she suffered from severe kidney complications.  After four procedures on Kaia in utero, Chelsea was admitted to the University of Cincinnati Hospital and spent the following 58 days on strict bedrest while she awaited the arrival of Kaia.  

On March 3, 2018 at 6:28pm Kaia was born and all too quickly passed away at 1:02 am due to respiratory complications.  

Chelsea and Zach are experiencing substantial medical bills and travel expenses along with loss of income as Chelsea has been on disability since December 5th and Zach has been in and out of work to be with Chelsea.  With the monies raised through this campaign, we hope to alleviate some of the financial burden they are facing as they deal with the massive heartache of losing their daughter.
