Kai Remington's and Lucky Lefty's urethra prolapse

52589200_1605410250310956_r.jpegThese are my two 6 month old pocket bullies Kai and Lucky. Today was an extremely scary and overwhelming day for me and my family. This morning Lucky (right side of pic), woke up and did number 1 as usual and out of nowhere I hear screaming and yelling.

I come downstairs to my buddy bleeding uncontrollably from his private area. Blood was everywhere and the kids were in shock. After cleaning up the mess I took a look and noticed that something was dangling. I had no idea what it was so we took him to the 24 hour hospital for animals who then diagnosed him with a prolapsed urethra.

While uncommon in alot of breeds, the breeds that are mixed together to create these guys often have this problem. The estimated surgery cost is between $3-4000. I explained to him that I also have his brother at home. He immediately told me what and how to check for it so I examined him as well when I get home and just my luck... Kai has it too. It just hasn't come all the way out yet but his urethra is exposed and it shouldn't be. So he will have to undergo the same surgery as his brother.

I know these are troubling times for all of us and everyone has been going through alot during the pandemic and state that our country is in. To all my friends and family, if you know me well you know that I would never ask for anything because its just not me but I am asking now. Honestly,  I just can't cover the costs on my own. These guys mean alot to us and we love them very much. Whatever you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Be safe and mask up!
