Kai Flanders

Kai was a vibrant, passionate, beautiful, sensitive, creative man. He was a talented musician and pianist who touched the lives of hundreds of people that he met in his adventures. Kai made friends out of strangers wherever he went and wrapped the world in his music. His presence filled any room, any stage. Kai wanted to be a good father, a good partner, a good friend, a good brother and son. Despite his best intentions and despite the endless love and support of his parents, and so many others, he struggled and suffered throughout his life with addiction. He died in Florida on August 21st as a result of this struggle.

Arrangements are being made to bring him home to his final resting place. Any contributions that you are able to make will support his family in covering the costs of preparations, transportation, and ceremony. Funds beyond the necessary costs will be invested in  a scholarship fund which is being set up in Kai's name to support individuals seeking recovery who don't have the resources to pay for treatment.
