Douglas is a brave young 18 year old man who has ONE remaining family member, his mother.  He is by her bedside, in the final days of her battle with STAGE 4 CANCER in Los Angeles. *update 1/19 at 8:45pm, Doug's mother passed away* He is being evicted at the end of the month, and I'm taking him in if he wants to stay with me. He does not have a job, a car, or a license, and I intend on getting him all three. He aspires to join the military. I see myself in this young KoreAm brother.

I am personally purchasing a $600 1984 Volvo 244 DL off craigslist, and having it brought to working condition by Wagonmeister of Palmdale, CA.

I will also put $1000 of my own finances if it requires to get this CLASSIC running, something he can be proud of. My first car was a Volvo, and I can't think of any better way to start off a love affair with cars.
