Kady's Fight

Kady fought a great fight last year with triple negative breast cancer, diagnosed August 2016. Through the great care of Karmanos at McLaren Northern Michigan, Kady completed months of chemo and radiation therapy hoping to eradicate this terrible disease. Unfortunately, it has returned and returned agressively.
Everyone that knows Kady, knows how energetic, vivacious, kind and supportive she is to all that come in contact with her. She is humble and very stubborn, never asking for help. During her first chemo/radiation she stayed positive, worked almost every day, ate healthy and exercised to fight the good fight. In July 2017 she took her victory hike on the John Muir trail (214 miles), while also raising money for breast cancer victims: Kady's Climb. She also took the time to speak with other victims of cancer. She is truly inspiring!

Though Karmanos has been amazing with Kady’s care, we want to send Kady to an institute that focuses primarily on her specific condition. We are trying to raise money so that she can go to MD Anderson in Texas. MD Anderson is considered one of the best hospitals in cancer care.
With all of the wonderful things Kady has given to her friends, family and community please pay it forward by helping her fight this battle.
