Hey there - my name is Kady.

In October of 2022, I was diagnosed with not ONE but TWO cancers (bile duct - Cholangiocarcinoma and thyroid - Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, which spread to my lymph nodes). I knew I was special, but not that special :)

The diagnosis occurred when I came down with jaundice and they found a mass in my liver. Thankfully, I was able to get into the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where they were able to do extensive scanning and come up with a treatment plan.

In early January 2023, I had my full thyroid removed, which will require me to be on medications for life.

By the end of January 2023, I went through my first, of many, chemotherapy treatments at the University of Colorado Medical Center.

Your donations will be huge in helping me cover medical costs including chemo treatments, prescriptions, hospital stays, scans, and (many) flights & housing to MN.

I am looking forward to the day when I can get back out on the flag football field and volleyball court!
