Help Send me back to Haiti

I once heard a quote that seared me to my core: "If you have
come to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you are here because your
liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together." "“An Aboriginal
Elder.
Her words inspired me to do what my heart yearns most to be a part of "“a solution for the most vulnerable; the most impoverished, the least thought of, the most oppressed, and the least encouraged. I wanted to help but where? How?
The people of Morose, Haiti were introduced to me through a friend from New Generation Ministries. They embody the heart of this quote. What I saw was profound. I remember standing in the middle of the orphanage as once abandoned, all together hopeless children played. I saw huddles of kiddos reading, fierce soccer matches staggered by age and ability, aspiring artists swapping drawings, and much laughter around the swing set. In every direction I looked I saw dreamers with a future in a healing community. Resources are secondary to relationships. Everybody plays a part in encouraging a healthier whole. Great care has and is being taken by this ministry to understand the values, economics and culture. This ensures their presence there is truly helpful within the context of the village without being disruptive and ultimately unhelpful.
Please play a part in my journey to return to Haiti. Your contribution helps cover much of the travel expenses that get me to Morose so that I can freely share what you and others in our culture have abundantly and freely given me.
Help me to do what I cannot do alone. Send my hands to Haiti to aid in the nurturing of women and children in the village of Morose. Give today and celebrate with me as we all grow in hope.
