Troy and Dee Johnson have had their share of tragedy.
As parents of two girls, they lost their first twin grandchildren at birth. Then two yeats later, a third grandchild at birth.
When they heard they were going to be Grandparents again, they were a bit apprehensive. Will it be born healthy? Should we brace for another lost Grandchild?
But when Niomi was born, healthy and beautifully perfect in 2014 their fears turned to excitement about this new life in their home.
Troy and Dee prepared their home to welcome Mommy Kaci and baby Niomi into their home. Excited and proud, they were the anchor for this new family. Kaci excelled in her career and Niomi got bigger they dicided they wanted more room and rented another place down the hall in the same apartment building. the foursome shared breakfast and dinners together and other activities everyday.
So, when daughter Kaci and grandchild Niomi didn't come over for breakfast on Saturday, August 5th, their dialy routine would have to wait until dinnertime. Kaci and Niomi went occasionally out for breadfast together, so it wasn't something to worry about and Dee and Troy spent Saturday mornings alone together as well be her day off. But when Kaci didn't return a number of calls, they thought it was time to walk down the hall because this was out of the ordinary.
They found their granddaughter safe, but Mom was not responding. After they tried to wake her, they knew she was gone.
Troy and Dee faced a reality no parent should have to deal with... the loss of their daughter, Kaci.
Granddaughter Niomi is safe and sound with Grandma and Grandpa. She knows somethings wrong, but most everything is staying as a normal
routine.
But Troy and Dee Johnson need help to keep life as normal as possible for Niomi.
We are asking for your help for:
Funeral costs
6 months of Day Care costs
Legal fee's for custody or partial custody of Niomi
Other costs that can't be forseen
PLEASE BE AWARE
The State of Wisconsin does not recognize Grandparents UNDER THE LAW to have any legal rights to their grandchildren.
They wish NOT to be disrespectful to Niomi's Father, but although he has had ample opportunity, he has had minimal interest in Niomi...
Troy and Dee are proud people who would prefer to do this all themselves. This is bigger than these two remarkable people...they need our help!
Troy and Dee have time and time again helped others in need..It's our turn to help them!
