Sydney Thornton Memorial Fund

Sydney Thornton, beloved mom & friend passed away unexpectedly on January 14. Sydney had a heart of gold; she was a single mom to 5 children, all of whom she adopted. Unfortunately, Sydney has absolutely no extended family, it was just her and her kids. Her oldest is 26, the younger 4 are all still in high school. The loss of a parent is something no child should ever have to go through and although the kids have no legal relatives they do have many people in the community that love them as family. They have currently been placed with a family friend, who is herself a mother of 4 and her husband is deployed overseas. Unfortunately, Sydney does not leave behind many assets, we are asking for any of you that knew and loved Sydney as we did to please help out in any way you can. Any and all donations, big and small, make a difference and are greatly appreciated. Sydney was a valued volunteer with AYSO, she gave so much of herself to the community. This is our chance to "pay it forward" and help her kids that she loved so much to be able to provide the funeral services that their mom deserves.
