Hello, I am Fatima Maher from Gaza. My dream since childhood has been to have a beautiful family house. We built it after years of fatigue and hard work. Perhaps it will be a safe haven for me and my small family with my two-year-old son, Hamza, and my beautiful daughter, Dima, who is 6 years old. But in... This war completely turned this beautiful house into rubble. The occupation destroyed my house in an instant, and it also destroyed my dreams of searching for a job as a teacher and finishing university studies a few years ago, and my daughter’s dream of completing school. She was a full year late in her studies and did not know science while she was growing up in front of me. 

My child, Hamza, did not live a safe and quiet childhood in his home, knowing only the life of war and the sounds of bombing. 

We ended up becoming homeless in a cold tent that swayed with the gusts of the harsh and cold winter winds, and the rain fell on us. We found ourselves drowning in water leaking from the dilapidated roof of the tent. We still do not know our fate in light of this bombing, destruction, and pain. There is no safe place to go. We find death everywhere. A place, and I see myself unable to provide the minimum necessities of life and safety for my children, as I cannot provide them with the minimum rights of milk, diapers, and clothes due to the high prices and the lack of sufficient funds. We have lost everything.

وطفلي حمزة لم يعش طفولة أمنة هادئة في بيته لا يعرف سوى حياة الحرب وأصوات القصف . 

انتهى بنا الأمر لنصبح مشردين في خيمة باردة تتأرجح مع هبات رياح الشتاء العاتية والباردة وتسقط علينا الأمطار فنجد أنفسنا غارقين في المياه المتسربة من سقف الخيمة المهترئ ، لازلنا لا نعلم مصيرنا في ظل هذا القصف والدمار والالم ، لا مكان آمن نذهب إليه، نجد الموت في كل مكان، وارى نفسي عاجزة عن توفير أدنى مقومات الحياة والأمان لأطفالي، حيث لا استطيع توفير أدنى حقوقهم من حليب وحفاظات الأطفال والملابس بسبب الأسعار المرتفعة وعدم توفر الأموال الكافية، فقد فقدنا كل شيء. 

بتعاونكم يصبح هناك أملاً بإعادة بناء بيوتنا وأحلامنا المدمرة، تضامنك ودعمك مهما كان صغيراً يحدث فرقاً كبيراً في مساعدتنا بإعادة بناء حياتنا.
