Join Jen's CANCER FIGHT

In October my aunt was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer. We found out during a routine hysterectomy, a surgery that should of only taken an hour took over 5 hours. She has a tumor that measured as if she was 23 weeks pregnant. It turns out her tumor grew in her uterus, wrapped arou,d her ovaries, fillopian tubes, and her urethra. The days following her surgery were filled with complications, she developed blood clots in both lungs, has lost partial use of her right leg, has memory loss, and has loss feeling in both hands. She immediately started chemotherapy. After 3 months of the chemo she is starting radiation, she will then follow up with 3 more months of chemotherapy. As you know medical bills are expensive. She has not yet healed from her hysterectomy, her husband and I have to dress her wounds 3 times a day, this costs about $200 a week. Currently she is seeing an Oncologist, Radiologist, Gynecological surgeon, Pulmonologist, and she is scheduled to see a nuerologist and start physical therapy. Each of these specialists have there own copays. My husband and I know first hand how helpful Jen and Rick can be. They have helped us and many others. They are very active in church and touch lives all over. My aunt did not want to ask for help but from an inside perspective I see how much they need it. Even if you cant do alot, anything will help these wonderful people with there medical expenses.
