<div>I need your help.  I rescued an abandoned dog that needs medical care. I found him off of 74 in the pouring rain, laying down off of the highway. He was petrified and shaking, but after an hour of coaxing he finally let me pick him up.  He is super sweet and this situation makes me so sad and mad at the same time. He has obviously been abused his whole life.

<div>well, took him to the vet today.  He has a broken leg, left femur, that has been that way for so long  it has fused back  incorrectly .  He may can overcome it with meds and therapy, if not, it will need amputation.

<div>Also, he is positive for heartworms and needs treatment.  I want to make this sweet boy healthy so I can adopt him to someone who can give him lots of love and affection.

<div>When I told the vet I was going to start a gofundme, she said to ask for 5-7k.  Today was almost 1100 dollars. I hate to ask for money, but it is a struggle to take care of him financially.
