Final Arrangements for Bobby Sell

Donation protected
Robert M Sell, my brother, Bobby, (top left in the photo) passed away at 8:23 a.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015; he was 56. The cause of death was a severe, systemic infection. Bobby was 56 years old when the Good Lord called him home.

I am unable to cover Bob’s final expenses so I started this campaign.  I ask only that, in lieu of flowers, you make a donation here. Any amount you can comfortably afford will be greatly appreciated; no amount is too small.

Inquiries are being made regarding final arrangements, but there is cause for concern because Bobby wasn’t able to work for the last couple (few?) months.

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to see him shortly after Christmas, though he didn’t look well. Bobby assured me he was under a doctor’s care and waiting for test results. Sadly, I wasn’t able to be there with him in the end. God really does answer prayers, though, because our cousin Kathy is a nurse at the hospital where Bobby passed away. Thank you, Kat, for holding his hand and not letting him die alone; that is a huge comfort – and no small miracle.

Bobby lived in Annapolis, MD., but his presence impacted family and friends around the country. Thank you for all of your calls, thoughts, emails, posts, and prayers. The outpouring of love and generosity is overwhelming. And I know there’s more to come as I look forward to meeting and re-connecting with all of the people Bobby loved in Maryland; his Maryland family.

Once expenses have been covered, any residual funds from this campaign will be donated to the American Cancer Society in your names, in honor of my brother, Bobby, and my sister, BJ; that's what he would have wanted, and it would have made our parents proud.

Please feel free to post pictures and  share memories here; I will treasure them all.

Thank you to Heroe’s Pub for hosting a celebration of Bobby’s life today, Thursday, January 15, 2015; I hope to see you there. I look forward to meeting you all and raising a final, farewell glass (or bottle) in Bobby's honor.

Address: 1 Riverview Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401
Hours: 4 – 7 p.m.

Bobby's favorit football team was the Baltimore Ravens so if you have something purple feel free to wear it tonight.

Another Celebration of Life will be held in Florida, in Bobby’s honor; the date has yet “To be Determined”. The past three days have been crammed full of traveling and looking into arrangements while keeping the multitude of family and friends in the loop; I sincerely apologize for the delay and to anyone I may have missed.
