Wednesday September 23 at 8:28am Karim Bangoura passed away in New York from an aggressive brain tumor.
He is the son of Hamidou Bangoura the director of Les Ballet Africains and his mother Nalo Camara who was one of the founders of Les Ballet Africains in Guinea, West Africa.
We have joined together as dancers and drummers around the world to raise money to send Karim’s body back home to his family.
The cost including the flight home and money for the funeral in Guinea will be approximately $7000.
