My first marathon

I will be attempting to run a marathon on Saturday the 20th of June 2020 to raise money for our local hospital. 

I have chosen this charity because Emily worked there for 6 years before leaving to have Raif and my mum is currently working there now. Emily’s ward became the Covid Ward and her friends and colleagues have worked throughout to tackle this virus and save lives. 

This horrible virus has unfortunately taken my grandad from us and prevented our parents from seeing their grandchildren and our friends from meeting our new son. 

Anything you can donate is welcomed and hopefully it will show our appreciation to the staff for all their hard work during this pandemic.
