Getting the Offspring to NYC!!

Once again the Offspring was nominated by her Drama instructor to go on a HUGE educational trip!  This time it is to New York City during next year's Spring Break.  The opportunity for this trip is HUGE since there are only 30 spots available and it is going to cover AMAZING landmarks and experiences such as 2 Broadway shows, a visit to the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building at night (WOW!), SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy, Central Park, a vistit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, an actual Theatre Class, an authentic Dance Class, and SO. MUCH. MORE!

As most of you know, the offspring is VERY dramatic and has such an amazing capacity for acting and art, and I would love to be able to fan the flames of her passion for these subjects. 

As much as I would love to be able to fund this trip on my own, I know that the reality of it is that I just can't.  The total price for the trip, including airfare (whoa) is $2386.  I will be paying as much as I can personally each month but we are hoping that the help and generosity of both mine and the offspring's friends will be able to cover the cost of what I cannot do.  

This is an excellent opportunity for the offspring and will look GREAT on her Harvard entrance letters!

Thanks to everyone who has been supporting myself and the offspring - it does not go unnoticed!  We are looking forward to another Grand Adventure!
