"Help Dewy Walk Again"

Hello! I want to update Dewy's condition. He had surgery two weeks ago. He is on strict crate rest for 6 weeks and we are just starting week 3. His progress is slow; but he is progressing. Yesterday he moved his legs and stretched to his toes! He also is showing bladder control which indicates nerve regeneration. He is graduationg out of diapers!! The surgeon said he has 'superficial' & 'deep' pain in his legs which indicates he has feeling.This all comes back in a certain order but the timing is different for every injury. He tolerates a sling so we go outside three times a day. I give him PT and massage 3x a day and he also does mini squates (100) three times a day. The surgeon is hopeful but recommended hydrotherapy and acupuncture to speed up the process. We are looking into that next week.
I really appreciate all of your support!  I know Dewy will walk again and we need all your good thoughts our way!
We are almost halfway to goal and I am blown away with the response. I have given alot of my own time and money in the past years for animals and I never expected any compensation save for the happy pups that found homes (and humans, too) or the healing for the ones that were suffering. I feel somehow this love and kindness for Dewy is a sweet comeback on my past efforts!!  So thank u from the bottom of my heart. Woof!
