Pedicures for Guatemala

Hola!!  If you know me at all, you know how much I love Guatemala and her people!  I serve with La Mision, a Guatemalan ministry who provides medical clinics to the people in remote areas that don't have access to medical care.  One thing the Lord laid on my heart several years ago was to give pedicures to the ladies we were serving.  Women in this area lead extremely hard lives with little appreciation or respect.  The first time we did the pedicures, I thought my heart was going to explode out of my chest.  THEY LOVED IT!!!  We wash the feet and legs with a sugar scrub, give a foot and leg massage with good smelling lotion then paint the toe nails.   Again, THEY LOVED IT!!  While they are getting the pedicures, one of our Guatemala friends explains how Jesus washed the feet of His disciples and we are washing their feet because of His love for them.  Beautiful!!!

Here is how you can be a part.  I am heading back to Guatemala the end of this month and we are short on funds.  It costs $5.00 for each lady because we do give them the tub, towel, and lotion we used as well as a manicure set and a beautiful picture of Jesus washing feet with the simple message of "Jesus loves you" in Espanol. Could you donate just $5.00 to provide a pedicure for one woman?  If you can donate more, please do! If you can't donate,  please pray for our trip and for the people we are going to serve.
