Bonjour à tous!
Je m'appelle Alix Mellet, j'ai 17 ans et étudie au Lycée Franco-Allemand de Buc en île de France. J'ai été sélectionnée pour une mission humanitaire à l'étranger par Project Trust...
L'organisation à but non lucratif écossaise Project Trust envoie depuis 50 ans des jeunes bénévoles en Asie, Afrique et en Amérique Centrale et du Sud pour qu'ils enseignent et aident des communautés à travers des projets adaptés et efficaces. Pour ma part, j'ai choisi et été sélectionnée pour partir 8 mois au Népal pour enseigner l'anglais à des jeunes étudiants dans des milieux très ruraux et qui n'ont pas accès à un bon enseignement. Ma mère étant Américaine, je suis bilingue français-anglais and I have been studying history and geography in English as well as English litterature at my school for 10 years. J'ai beaucoup à offrir à ces jeunes et suis impatiente de pouvoir avoir une influence positive dans le monde. Ce voyage fera aussi de moi une citoyenne du monde plus avertie et engagée... et vous pouvez m'aider!
Afin de financer les différents aspects de mon projet comme détaillé dans le graph attaché, je dois récolter 6200€ avant septembre prochain! Pour atteidre cet objectif, j'organise des évennements comme des ventes de gateaux, soirées karaoké ou diners à thème et je fais des demandes auprès de fondations, entreprises et individus. Je serais très reconnaissante si vous pouviez m'aider en faisant un don et pourrais, si vous le souhaitez, vous tenir au courant de comment se déroule mon projet humanitaire! J'ai vraiment besoin de votre aide et compte sur votre générosité!

Hello! My name is Alix Mellet, I am 17 years old and study English literature, history, geopolitics, philosophy, sciences and languages at my school in France.
I have recently been selected for an overseas placement with Project Trust, a Scottish educational charity which sends volunteers to underpriviledged areas throughout Africa, Asia and South America providing them with dynamic teachers!
I have been selected for an 8 month project in Nepal during which I will teach english to young students and help out a community in a rural area of Nepal where funds for and access to education are very limited. I feel very strongly about the importance of education in less developed countries and am eager to have a positive influence in the world we live in!
Volunteering will also bring me valuable experience and knowledge making me an aware global citizen and I intend using this later in my studies and throughout my life.
But first I need to raise £5,500 before September 2018 to cover the expenses of this project as detailed in the graph below. Please donate something if you can and remember no sum is to small or to big!
