Dear friends and family,
On February 13 2018, 7 year old Antonio experienced a terrible headache at school and started to throw up. His dad took him to the nearest emergency room expecting to be treated for some kind of a virus, instead a CT scan revealed a large tumor in Antonio's brain. On February 14, while most of us were busy celebrating valentine's day Antonio underwent a 10 hour surgery to remove the tumor. Unfortunately doctors found the tumor to be "alive" and "active" and were unable to remove it as Antonio bled a lot and they were concerned for his life.
A week later doctors delivered the heart wrenching news that Antonio's tumor was an aggressive form of brain cancer and that Antonio would need to begin cancer treatment immediately.
Antonio's parents are in too much shock. His father has been unable to work as Antonio could not survive the emotional and physical pain without the support of his parents.
Sadly, his mother can't spend as much time at Antonio's bedside because she has three other younger children at home, ages 6, 3, and 4 months who have been left feeling lonely, confused, and scared as their older brother is suddenly very ill and his future is uncertain.
Antonio's dad is the only financial provider for this family- so right now there is no income to pay for this family's basic daily needs such as food, diapers, formula, utilities, gas for the daily trips to the hospital, parking expenses etc.
Antonio's family is facing every parent's worse nightmare!
Your prayers and financial support of any amount will allow Antonio's mother and father to stay with Antonio and give him the much needed love, affection and reassurance that only a parent can give. without this financial support, Antonio's father will have to leave Antonio's bedside and return to work, leaving him to face this life-changing ordeal without his father by his side.
