Jess Stairs Legal Fund

Now is the time for concerned alumni to come to the aid of their University.

 

Last Spring, Jess Stairs, a fellow alum who believes in reforming the Board of Trustees, challenged two endorsed candidates in the AG Trustee election. When it became obvious that he was going to win, ballots were seized, the election was rigged, and someone who had never attended Penn State was declared the winner. 

 

Jess filed an immediate protest with Old Main. When that was ignored, he filed paperwork in Centre County Court and then filed suit. A hearing is scheduled for March 3rd. 

 

There is a very good chance that he will prevail and a reliable Old Guard vote will be replaced by someone who is fighting to right the wrongs of the past three years. But the legal process is expensive and Jess needs our help.
