Kris & Sage's Trip to Ghana

Having been given so much in life it's hard to pass up an opportunity to give a little back, and when your 16 year old daughter wants to join you its all the more awesome and humbling...

Sage and I will be volunteering in Ghana this summer. We will be working with rescued child slaves, teaching English through a program called Compassionate Journeys. 


We will be teaching in a rural village in Ghana's Volta Region called Tafi Atome. As many as one out of every three children in Ghana is a victim of child trafficking or child labor and understanding English is one of the primary keys to development and freedom for these kids.

We are hoping to raise some funds to help cover travel expenses.
