Katie, Logan & Savannah

Katie Wheeland and Logan Terry found out they were expecting a baby in August, 2014. Their due date is April 10, 2015. When Katie and Logan went to their 20 week Doctors appointment, they were given news that no expecting parents want to hear. Their baby girl, Savannah, was diagnosed with an extremely rare skeletal dysplasia disorder.
They were referred to Geisinger, and from there quickly referred to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. At CHOP it was confirmed. They specify it as Short Rib Polydactyly Syndrome(SRPS). This disorder affects the development of her rib cage, which is now smaller than the 1 percentile for her age. Unfortunately, this disorder has been confirmed to be fatal upon or shortly after delivery. They continue to get wonderful care from the medical team at Geisinger, and they now get ultrasounds every week to see Savannah and see her progress. Please help us give Katie and Logan peace of mind. By donating you will relieve the burden of expenses after Savannah is delivered. We want Katie and Logan to be able to focus on Savannah and each other. Thank you for your help.
