Reconstructive Nose Surgery

Michelle Heyoka  started her night busking on Saturday, July 18th on Granville, Vancouver, BC. She is a upcoming singer/songwriter who supports her 2 children with the money she makes from busking. Michelle was having a normal Saturday night filled with lots of support & love from the surrounding people.  As she was packing up and leaving with several friends, a group of men yelled racial slurs, and charged.

She is the victim of a hate crime that took place at the end of her night. Attacked & stabbed in an unprovoked incident. The attackers are racist & chose a women to attack, as she couldn't defend herself. They called her a 'chug,' referring to a derogatory term for Indigenous people.

She is in need of facial reconstruction on her nose so she can go about her daily life as a mom without a constant reminder of this horrible incident. So her children can look at her & see their mom as she use to be & her career as a singer/songwriter can continue without the constant fear of having to hide her face.

All donations are appreciated & she will be forever grateful.
Thank You.
