Chris's story
Chris Martin is an amazing father to a 6-year-old boy named Henry and is a proud Marine. Chris is a fighter and although this will be his second battle with cancer, with the support of family and friends he will win again!
Recently Chris received the very shocking news cancer has yet again reared its ugly head. This time it’s near Chris's larynx and in a lymph node in his neck. He will be traveling to Houston for chemotherapy treatments at MD Anderson cancer center for the next several months. The doctors may want Chris to participate in clinical trials but that will not be covered by insurance. It's my hope and prayer that we can band together and help my brother during this trying time in his life.
Chris works primarily in sales and his ability to speak has already weakened and will undoubtedly worsen. This will make it impossible for him to work. In other words HE CAN'T WORK!!!! That's why I'm coming to you all for HELP. In addition, the costs of traveling and medical bills will add up quickly. Fundraisers like these will help provide Chris with the peace of mind needed so that he may focus on what's important; BEATING THIS AGAIN!
