Hello! My name is Cailen Losacco and I am 13 years old. I currently hold a 3.9 GPA at Taylor Junior High. When I am not playing basketball or baseball, I enjoy hunting and camping with my family. I have made honor roll every year since 1st grade and because of my academic achievements I have the chance this year to take a once in a lifetime trip with my classmates to Washington D.C in March 2018 as part of the Close Up Program. The Close Up program is a dynamic hands on civic education program that empowers students to become life long active participants in our Government. It is just a great opportunity to be a part of and I am super excited that I have the chance to go with my classmates! Here is where I need all of your support!!! The program cost includes tuition and instruction, materials, hotel accommodation, meals, 24 hour security, all entrance fees, bus transportation as well as round trip airfare. We will also be able to have access to Georgetown Medical Center! We may even have a chance to sit in one of the Judicial seats!! How awesome is that! We will need to finalize arrangements and make payments by November 1, 2017. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for hearing my story and donating! I cant wait to start sending my personalized thank you's to EVERYONE!
