Karen's Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Karen Haller and on February 19, 2024, I was involved in a major car accident. I received multiple injuries, which include a broken wrist in two places, femur in five places, heel, and 11 ribs. Per my surgeons' orders, I am not able to bare any weight on my leg until it heals. I am currently recovering in a nursing home, but my health insurance company, is not willing to continue to pay for my stay. I am unable to make progress until my leg heals. My surgeon has told me that it will be atleast 2-3 months before my leg heals. Unfortunately, I live alone, and I am unable to care for myself while I recuperate. I have the option of moving to an assisted living facility, but my insurance company will not cover that either. I am unable to afford the costs of living in an assisted living facility. It is very costly, and I still have to maintain the bills for my home while I recover. I am extremely eager to return to life before the accident. This experience has been very humbling, and I owe all the glory to God that I am still here!
