<div>Jan 2025 changed my family's lives forever. Through every trial, there can be a storm. But God lights the way for me, through church and through song. My understanding in faith came from the fire of Jan 30th. Bible study with my new church family and Jesus's whisper of hope. I don't want to air my family's misfortunes because somebody's loss is always greater. And in my situation, it's true. <strong>The person murdered was someone I loved just as much as my son.</strong> My heart aches for his family; no one even knows, nor did I until this day. I keep quiet as both families mourn, still do, but today, I was reminded to ask for help.

<div><strong>I'm trying to get my family money to move to a house.</strong> Our situation has caused some uncertainty in our lives and others. I want my daughter to have the stability she needs. One daughter's seizures were worse before this event, and now even more so with the trauma involved. We have our good days and really sad days. I just want happiness and comfort. To my youngest daughter who shares a birthday with our friend, we love and miss our friend so much. To my husband who has lost so much, our son and our friend. To a mother, me. I can never give my friend back nor will moving fix it, but it will give me a better understanding of where God wants me to be.

<div><strong>If you can help us, we would be so grateful.</strong> In God's loving arms, I pray for every mother that has lost someone or for whose son is lost. Jesus is our salvation through him and for him. Life is peaceful when you have peace. I can't quote scripture. I am new to faith, but I can say God is the light. I see that throughout all Bibles, no matter the denomination. Let him be that for us :)
