Lighten the Load for Mindy

Mindy Volk is a friend and member of our community. She is a first responder as a deputy sheriff, and works for the fire marshall, and the City of Crystal Springs. She is an active member of the Crystal Springs United Methodist church and volunteers with the children's ministry. Everyone who has met Mindy knows of her sweet spirit and servant's heart. She has very little family and no family locally. She recently suffered a seizure which led to an extended hospital stay. They found a brain absess and other medical issues . She faces recovery of at least six months and some leave from work . As a community of friends who love her, we would like to take an opportunity to alleviate some of her financial burden as she begins her journey back to recovery.




I am Lorraine Boleware , a friend of Mindys. I was asked to post this by a group of her close friends. I live in Gautier , MS  but am from Crystal Springs.  Mindy is the only person who has access  to any of the funds raised by this gofundme account.  She can use the money raised however she sees fit. She will have lots of medical expenses and some living expense needs.  Apparently gofundme needs for me to post this as part of full disclosure.  Thank you!
