Keith's Medical Fund

Keith suffered a massive stroke on September 26.  He was found on the floor by Vanessa (wife) and Keely (daughter) when they returned from rehearsal on Saturday and was rushed to Maine Medical at that time.  He spent the first 8 days in ICU and has now been moved to a unit that will start Occupational and Physical Therapy with him.  The stroke affected the right side of his body.  He presently has no use of any of his right side nor is he able to speak.  The road to recovery (how much he will regain at present is not known) will be long (approximately 1 to 2 years).  He will be required to go to a rehab hospital after being released from Maine Medical; and then will continue on an outpatient basis with the required therapy.   Assistance is needed to keep the family whole and offset the mounting costs of this injury.
