Peter's surgery

Greetngs.  I am Peter from Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  I am the sole provider for my family, consisting of myself, my wife and our three children, 6, 5, and 1 1/2. but I personally do not have health insurance.  I make, literally, $20 a month above the income cutoff for Medicaid, and insurance through my company actually costs more than my monthly Rent.  Unfortunately, the time has come that I must undergo hernia repair surgery for an Inguinal (Groin) Hernia.  For this procedure, the Surgeon will make a total of 4 incisions, one in my navel, and 3 in my groin.  The cost of the surgery is around $12,000, and that estimate is fairly conservative.  Due to the amount of physical activity of my job, the surgeon has highly recommended two weeks off after the surgery, which is scheduled for 3 November 2017.  Though the cost of the surgery is certainly a concern, the more immediate concern is the 2 weeks salary I will be missing out on for my recovery.  This is equivalent to $1,500.00.  The $1,500.00 is what I truly need assistance with, as the specific paycheck I will be missing out on would be allocated for my December Rent. (My payday runs 15 days after the end on each payperiod).  My wife, a housewife and stay-at-home Mom, and I, do not have any family members even remotely in the position to assist us financially.  I am truly hoping I can meet my goal by the 1st week of November.  If I meet my financial goal of the $1,500.00, any additional money will go directly to the cost of the surgery itself.  Thank you in advance for any and all assistance.  Your kindness is truly appreciated.
